I am beyond stunned. To be a part of such a prestigious society is a true honor. You cannot apply for it - you must be nominated by another Kentucky Colonel. It is a philanthropic organization; its members have a history of giving back and helping others.
Mrs. Whiskeyfellow knew that I was nominated but was sworn to secrecy. She showed me her text message exchange with the Kentucky Colonel who nominated me. It happened for my work to bring awareness and raise money to find a cure for CRPS.
This is something I will cherish until the day I die. It is as meaningful to be as becoming a member of The Bourbon Mafia in 2022, which is another philanthropic organization.
