Last year, I had Mrs. Whiskeyfellow
hook us both to her TENS/EMS unit so that I could feel a part of what people
with CRPS live with. That video was unintentionally hilarious, mostly to
watch me scream in pain. This year, the electrodes are on both legs instead of
having the electrodes on my arm.
What this video doesn’t show – and can’t – is
more than just the pain involved. CRPS also causes swelling, skin discoloration,
abnormal temperatures, and sensitivity to touch in the affected areas.
CRPS is a horribly unfair disease with no
cure and gets very little attention. I’m doing the best I can to spread
awareness.
If willing and able, please consider donating
to the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association at RSDS.org/donate.
Thank you for watching. I’ll check in again
soon. Cheers!
