Today is September 1st, the start of Bourbon Heritage Month. It is the first time in literally a dozen years that I've not hosted my annual #30DaysofBourbon challenge.
My heart just isn't in it. That's not to say I'm finding Bourbon boring; I just have too many big life stressors right now, especially with my mother's battle with lung cancer.
For those of you going to the Bourbon Heritage Festival, I hope this one is the best ever. Prove to the distillers and industry insiders that the excitement is still there.
